Ron Azad is Executive Vice President of Asset Management and Development of Hankey Investment Company. He is responsible for managing all aspects of investments in existing properties, developments and repositioning projects.

An accomplished real estate investor, Ron’s career has spanned nearly 30 years. Since his start at CB Richard Ellis Investors, he led successful real estate investment programs for institutional, private equity and off-shore investors in the US. His strong leadership and team-building skills and his energetic approach have led to successes in portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, development and dispositions. He has profitably operated investments with several styles of ownership including: direct ownership, partnerships, equity-equivalent loans and trust deeds. In addition, he managed the completion of 4 million square feet of new developments valued at over $500 million.

Ron has managed over $2.8 billion of assets totaling more than 16 million square feet, including over 80 office, industrial, retail, medical office and residential properties, including ground up developments.

Graduating with an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, Ron then completed MBA studies at the University of Southern California.
